“And they asked him(Jesus Christ), saying, master, when

“And they asked him(Jesus Christ), saying, master, when will all these things be? and what shall be the signs when these things happen?” (Luke 21:7)

Well i am here to answer part of this question, the part that says “what shall be the signs when these things happen” and not the part that says “when shall all these things be”. There are major prophecies to occur before the Lord returns to earth to gather his elected ones.

1. THERE SHALL BE FALSE PROPHETS AND FALSE MESSIAHS ( LUKE 21:8, MARK 13:16):

The Lord Jesus Christ warned of false prophets who are now in the world today. He said many shall come falsely in the name of Jesus Christ. This prophecy is already coming to pass as there are many dubious prophets and frauds who now come in the name of Jesus Christ. but note that there is one major false messiah whom the Bible call the “son of perdition”(2 Thessalonians 2:3). He shall finish the mystery of lawlessness after Jesus Christ returns.

2. THERE SHALL BE HEAVENLY WONDERS AND DISPLAY OF COSMIC SIGNS IN THE SKIES (LUKE 21:11, MATTHEW 24:29):

Jesus Christ also predicted heavenly wonders. the display of heavenly wonders are also in support by science. for instance, solar eclipse are part of cosmic signs. shooting stars are also part of heavenly signs. comets are also not excluded. on February 15, 2013 a meteor was spotted over earth. the meteor made its very closest to earth on that day. all these were predicted by the Lord Jesus Christ before they were discovered. there shall be a blast of heavenly signs and wonders to mark the beginning of the end of days.

3. THERE SHALL ALSO BE EARTHLY WONDERS AND COSMIC DISTURBANCES(MARK 13:8, LUKE 21:11): Jesus Christ also predicted earthquakes and famines to plague earth during the end times and trigger world wide sorrows and disasters and instability. He said all these are just the beginning of sorrows and tribulations. many countries have been plagued by earthquakes and cosmic disasters.

4. THERE WILL BE GREAT TRIBULATIONS( MATTHEW 24:9):

Many Christians in the world have been faced with trials for their faith in Christ and for their love of the gospel. Many Christians have been betrayed by loved one for their faith(Matthew 24:10). these are the beginnings of tribulations as predicted by Jesus Christ.

5. PEOPLE SHALL FORGET ABOUT THE GOSPEL AND THE GOSPEL SHALL SPREAD TO THE WHOLE EARTH: the love of many shall grow cold during the end times. immoralities shall abound and at the same time the gospel shall be preached to all nations as a sign of Christ’s coming. people shall forget about God and at the same time the word of God shall be preached to all the earth.
